Normally I don’t post on the weekends since I’m usually on my xbox and not my laptop, but I was reading this article on ny phone. It was shared, by the Buddhism page I follow on Facebook. Haha, I like to learn in my spirituality everywhere.

It is about the top regrets people have at the end of their lives.

Technology

Hey it’s Anthony and what has occurred to me the most is people relying on the technology. Yes, we need to look up information that we don’t know or need to know. For example, like checking on your grades for school or looking up information for things to learn about. Don’t get me wrong, I am one of those people that rely on technology, but not as much though. If we constantly rely on our phones, computers, and just the high tech itself, then we wouldn’t recognize the real world. Sometimes you got to just put the phone down or turn off the computer and go outside.

Going out more is better then staying on your phone all day. Continue Reading

WHAT IS LOVE??

“..baby don’t hurt me, don’t hurt me. No more.”

Tell me that song isn’t a classic.

But what is love? What is this abstractly defined and experienced state of being that so many people claim and so many people deny? How does it coerce the most extreme and unpredictable actions out of a person? Why does it give us such life?

Why does it hurt so bad? Continue Reading

A FIRST IMPRESSION IS FALSE, A FALLACY, A RUSE, A STRAIGHT UP LIE

First impressions. They set the foundation for a new relationship of any kind. Whether it be an acquaintance at work or a future significant other. It’s that first encounter that determines any further encounters or remove all possibility for them. But what if I said to you that first impressions didn’t really matter? What if I said you could never really understand someone from that quick interaction? What if I daringly say that it’s possible a first impression is so insignificant, that it can just be neglected in favor of some other arbitrary superficial attribute?

I pick how their shoes look matters most. Yep, I’m going with that.

People Around The World

Hey, its Anthony, and what I have noticed lately is the people who is around us are different from many races, as you may know. I am starting to see the difference of the races as they come to me and realizing that they’re actually good people. Not to look up to but they make common sense. People from around the world are different in many ways, like they personalities. If you notice they start to become shy because they have no idea what to say or do in a situation when it comes to them. Maybe sometimes they will give you a look like “I don’t understand!” and its annoying to show them what you are doing. But lately, I’ve seen people making front of them, bringing them done, making them feel depressed. I just personally think that if they came from a different country where there is freedom involved, then what have to show how appreciative about our freedom. We can’t just sit there and start making front of them, I mean like really. People these days are different now. Before, people were struggling and started helping out and the people thought we need our own independence. So, they did and immigrants started coming, everything started to change. Yes I understand if you don’t know ask some questions but not judge a book by its damn cover. This country wasn’t made so we could judge other people from around the world. If you think about it judging a book by its cover hurts more immigrants that come today. I personally just think we should be very friendly to them, but you know how people are, “Oh my god, don’t touch,  get away from me, don’t talk to me”, that kinda stuff. Yeah, I was just saying this because i saw it happening lately and I thought I might share it to you guys and what is your personally about our people around the world. And yes I know, that people can’t really be trusted because when you meet people, you don’t know what there capable of. I hope you guys have a good weekend and might think about it. Have a nice day. YOU ARE NOT YOU

The uncorruptible. Incorruptible? Non-corrupting? Corruption immune? However you correctly say it, they are what exist in society as those that can not be influenced by outside sources. We are talking about the pure ones walking into those “not so pure” situations.

I was having this conversation with a friend of mine a while ago and the subject came up again. We were talking about the whole controversy with the police in the NYPD here and stuff. ..for the sake of a “tension free zone” for a while, I’m not going to be directly weighing in on that kind of stuff here. yet.. He said something very interesting that I didn’t think about before. You can go into the police force with the best intentions. The academy is filled with recruits just wanting to do good. But you get 2 outcomes with that. You can either join in on the underground things going on, be part of the group, fit in and become the very thing you tried to avoid. Or you can go against the status quo, attempt to hold on to your ethics, and suffer being an outcast or black-balled and distrusted. You can’t jump in mud and not get dirt on your shoes. You can never beat peer pressure.

Think about that for a second. “You can never beat peer pressure.” Continue Reading
