Boi Growing Up

That’s essentially what we all are. A “troubled soul”, are we not? Even the best of us. At any given time, there is the presence of some burden adding extra hindrance. Extra weight. The extra struggle. Maybe as light and of little consequence as trying to find the remote. Maybe as mentally destructive and massive as being 6 months behind on the mortgage payment. We all have our own issues. Each and every one of us. Each and every one of us that is travelling this Earth. Travelling this Earth using our own modes of transportation or “coping” towards some end point of final bliss where we get to say “it’s finally over”. And don’t we all look for those to join us on our trip so it’s not so lonely?

Or maybe you are one of those people whose mind broke down along the way. Maybe you are, instead of moving along the path, sitting on the side with your thumb sticking up into the air hoping some kind traveler will help you get the rest of the way because you can’t make it anymore alone. I feel you. We all could use a bit of help sometimes. We must be wary of the hitchhikers though. Just like on the literal roads of the world, some can be pleasant and warmhearted while others only hold malice in their souls. Those holding ill will inside from whatever unfortunate circumstance was given to them are hazardous to your journey. Don’t let people into your life that will only be destructive to you. No matter how selfless you try to be, be cognizant of who you choose to help. Not everyone will seek to reciprocate your kindness back to you.

Now with all that being said..

i don’t know where you’re going, but do you have room for one more troubled soul?
