I think I’m going to try to make this a sticky post on top of my page if I figure out how. These 2 posts I wrote a long time ago are the perfect embodiment of what my blog is, what I am, and what we are in relation to each other. Yes I mentioned my blog is my space, but aside from that, this is how my life defines it.

I am a pure suburban raised kid with a few years of “ghetto” living experience under my built, just enough to retain my “black” license and have slang as my 3rd language. I have no desire to be in those neighborhoods, but I go back for 1 thing, my barbershop .

That’s essentially what we all are. A “troubled soul”, are we not? Even the best of us. At any given time, there is the presence of some burden adding extra hindrance. Extra weight. The extra struggle. Maybe as light and of little consequence as trying to find the remote. Maybe as mentally destructive and massive as being 6 months behind on the mortgage payment. We all have our own issues. Each and every one of us. Each and every one of us that is travelling this Earth. Travelling this Earth using our own modes of transportation or “coping” towards some end point of final bliss where we get to say “it’s finally over”. And don’t we all look for those to join us on our trip so it’s not so lonely?
